Sonic BOOOOOM!!

Last night I went with some of the Epik crew to see me first basketball game, Busan's own Sonic Boom vs Samsung Lions from Seoul. Seoul beat us like but it was good fun.

We got seats in the I Park stand (I Park is the local footy team), courtside for 10,000 won a pop. That's a little more than 5 quid and it meant we had an amazing view of the cheerleaders! Seriously, legs you could slide down!

I don't know Jack about basketball but you could tell the quality of play was crap compared to the NBA. Each team is allowed only one foreign player on the court at one time and for 40 minutes it's just pass to the waygook(foreigner).

I came this close to running on the court and showing them how we do it in Liverpool.

Busan EFM, the local English radio station were there and they interviewed us. "If you were a professional basketball player what would you do?" was there question. Matt's answer was the best, "I'd get to know the cheerleaders a bit better!" What would you do?

Unfortunately being the dozy plank that I am, I took my camera but I forgot to put me memory stick in it so I ain't got no photos. But, thanks to Mr Adrian Law, the national press managed to get a picture of me. Look to the left of Rode's ass. http://sports.media.daum.net/basketball/gallery/0119kbl/index.html#20110118204907440
